Hello!
This week has been FULL of fun and good times! The weather was absolutely gorgeous all week. Me and my NK were outside every chance we got!
Monday we had a picnic at Morgan Falls Park (in Sandy Springs, I HIGHLY recommend it!) After we played for a bit, we set up our picnic blanket and enjoyed a little lunch.
After lunch, we took the stale bread we brought from home and went down to the dock to feed the ducks. Well, HUGE bummer because the baby ducks we adored at the beginning of the summer were nowhere to be found.
We tossed in our bread crumbles anyway and as the girls were throwing in their last handfuls, we spot two enormous geese flying straight for us. At first we were certain they were just checking out the area because there was NO WAY they could have seen us/smelled the bread from over a mile away. We were wrong! They came full speed ahead, touching down about 30ft in front of the dock and gliding the rest of the way! They picked out the largest chunks of bread to devour first.
We stayed for a little to watch them eat but then quickly got up to leave when a few other wildlife “enthusiasts” thought it would be appropriate to invite the geese onto the dock to share their lunch with them.

I’ve linked their lackluster website below...but it has the pertinent information you need to plan your next visit!
Do yourself a favor and Google some pictures of the gorgeous park! It’s my all time favorite park in the Atlanta Area.
Until next time...
Enjoy your family, however they may come into your life. Cherish them.
Best,
Meredith
